Does anyone have a preference as to which way the tinsel leads are oriented when installing a driver? I've traditionally seen them at the bottom of the cone in most installations but im wondering if there is any difference/benefit to having them at the top of the cone? Any thoughts?
Too close to the bottom of the cone and I'd think you might be in danger of tinsel slap where the lead hits the spider. Most of the full range units don't have gobbs of excursion though so it's usually not a problem in that instance.
