What's the difference between a Threshold SA/30s and a SA/3.9e apart from the typenumber?

So it seemed to me that the 30s and the more famous 3.9e are the same thing for differen markets but that is very different from what Nelson said...

But the great problem is to find a 3.9e or a 30s in the used market...I will pay without batting an eye for a nice condition unit.
