i was offered a really spotless pair of Threshold SA/2 in their original boxes. They are from their first owner and where never opened for service before. As the owners a friend, I would like to know what would be the fair market value of these?
How can I determine, which version (optical BIAS or not) it is?
What are the remonneded tasks for servicing them (cap replacements?, upgrades?)

Hallo Markus, I am not the super expert, but would imagine that a replacement of PSU caps (to same or better spec) and a bias adjust is all you need - unless they are defective in some way. Regarding fair market value, better look at asking prices on german and EU websites (and maybe subtract 20%)..
