Hi,
More questions about the Kirishima speakers...
My friend may want to add a tweeter or the builds.
Considering these.

I don't know much of that tweeter, but years ago i was hot for the rt2h.
SWANS RT2H-
Hoping for 6db crossed, maybe 5k, with its flat impedence curve.
I remember the hivi planar tweets being snubbed due to much higher harmonic distortion compared to domes.
And, it may be difficult to get the driver back far enough for alignment.

I use that and love it. I don't notice harmonic distortion compared to domes. I drive it with tubes so can't speak to what it may sound like with a SS or class D amp.
FE206En i assume, the tweeter is likely not sufficiently sensitive to keep up. And the nature of its dispersion will casue a significant dicontinuity/ Usually something horn loaded is used to avoid both of those issues.

A Fostex is often used. I have a couple in my clearnce bin that would be good on a budget if you are interested, including FT17.

I had some of those years ago and didn't like them very much. At the time; I had some Philips "ISO PHASE" leaf tweeters (ribbons) that were MUCH better sounding in that same price range. Alas, Philips are not in that market anymore (at least not in US). What sensitivity range are you looking for? What is your budget? I like and personally have ribbons, hard domes, soft domes, bullet style horn ST's, etc. I think at last count 11 different pairs of tweeters in my "stash". AMT's are making a big come back but I don't have any recent models currently. What are your design goals and what types of music do you listen to most?
