I'm completely new to Thorens. Can anyone please help me out with this one?
The arm rest and catch are broken, it will play without distortion but the stylus does that constant steady wobble thing! Also after looking at this model online the tonearm base looks different. Is this one missing a counter weight? I can try and take a video tomorrow. Here are some photos for now.

Nothing is missing. You can turn the armrest CCW so that the arm is lying on the rubber surface at rest position. You will need tiny Allen keys.
This is a unipivot arm, some wobble is normal. But during play it should be ~steady.
Also there is a sliding part on the arm tube for fine adjustment of the tracking force and effective mass of the arm/pickup system. This has effect on the resonance (10 - 15 Hz).
