Hi,
I happened to get hold of a Thorens TD 126 MK iii turntable. We turned it on, and it lit up. We turned it off, and then back on again, and now it's completely dead. Is there a fuse that's easy to get to? Any easy things to look at, to get it going, before taking it to a professional?
Does anyone have recommendations for Thorens repair work in NYC? I think I've used Analogique once a long time ago, and they were good. Anyone know if Lyric Hi Fi is worth a look to repair this TT?

Yes, if the strobe light is out then the fuse is blown. If the tt has not seen use for many years, chances are a power supply electrolytic needs reforming or replacing. In any case i would check it out before replacing the fuse.
