I'm new to Diyaudio, so hello everyone. Here's my problem with this Thorens that I've had put away in a closet for 12-15 years: the motor shaft (one that goes to the pulley) is bent, so the pulley has a serious wobble to it. Apparently someone tried to remove the pulley at some point in this little turntable's life. Any suggestions as to how to remove the pulley? Once it's removed, can I straighten it or will I need a new shaft? I also need a Thorens headshell for the stock TP-13 arm. The turntable is in great cosmetic condition otherwise, so I hope I can get it up and running. Anyway, hope someone can help with advice. Thanks.
Welcome to the forum Mike. The best place to post this question would be to the analog source forum. Good luck!
