"Catholic girls
With a tiny little moustache
Catholic girls
Do you know how they go?
Catholic girls....
In a little white dress
Catholic girls
They never confess
Catholic girls
I got one for a cousin
I love how they go
So send me a dozen"

Driving to El Monte Legion Stadium
Pick up on my Weeza she is so divine
Helps me stealing hubcaps, wasted all the time.
Fuzzy dice, bongos in the back
My ship of love is ready to attack...
p10: Let's NOT post the lyrics for Dynamo Hum or Dirty Love. And especially not for Latex Solar Beef or Bwana D***.

I love the part where the Cadillac morphs into a Lincoln 🙂

Cadillac.....Lincoln.....
What's the diff?.......they both get crushed.
They made a few other goofs on that album....and the one at Roxy. I was at a concert in Santa Fe back in the early 80s, that a friend of a friend was the promotor. He swore that he would never do another Zappa concert. According to him:
Zappa had 4 shows in his repetoire. He would show up at the concert, and announce to the band which one they were going to do that night. They were expected to play it flawlessly, with whatever style/motif changes that he may decide in a middle of song. Which would itself change again. If you didn't, he had musicians waiting to take your place. The entire show is tightly scripted and choreographed.
He had the road manager fire Napoleon Murphy Brock after the show, because he did something that resembled.....shall we say.....an unnatural sex act involving a water bottle and a rag doll. It was not part of the show, and the crowd loved it. That was the end of Murph's days with the band.
According to "Flo and Eddie", whom I heard interviewed about their days with Zappa:
They felt that his genius was to take the nasty stuff that was discussed around the breakfast table, an handing it back to you that night in the form of a script.
And you wonder how the Cadillac morphed into in Lincoln.

Re: Cadillac.....Lincoln.....
The best concert i ever went to was one in Vancouver.
Frank came on and said "we're going to do something stupid -- play 23 new songs". They then proceeded to play, the last note of one somg becoming the 1st of the next. It was one of those experiences that seemed to last forever, but take no time at all 🙂
I always figured the Cadillic/Lincoln thing was fully scripted.
His Grand Wazoo helped keep me sane when i spent 12 weeks living among the Indians of the NWT.

Or how about my personal favorite, "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Sexually Aroused Gas Mask"?
The enchilada sauce one, wasn''t that Flo and Eddie on the Fillmore album, the one with the all white cover? With the bullet?
"What Kind of Girl Do You Think We Are?" is the song you're thinking of?
I only saw them once, at the old Lyric Theater in Baltimore. I remember a visual gimmick involving a baby doll and a salami as their Big Outrageous Moment- some pretty fine playing, including a memorable "Willie the Pimp." I wish I could have seen them a few years before, the band with Ian Underwood, Jimmy Carl Black, Don Preston, and Roy Estrada.

Andy........
Yep, that is the album. In the back seat of your Gremlin.
Hard to believe that Phred has made it this far and never heard most of that stuff. He does have Yellow Shark, so we should cut him some slack.

Re: Andy........
Well, I used to drive a "Scamp", so I guess I don't have much room to talk here
One of the things that got me interested in audio when I was a kid was the liner notes of "Uncle Meat". His description of the equipment and techniques used showed a love of the technology. Now I'm sure classical is another matter, but rock and roll albums recorded back in the '67-68 time frame when Uncle Meat came out were pretty poor as far as sound quality. Seems like all the major artists back then were shooting for the "top 40", highly compressed sound. But to me, "Uncle Meat" still has excellent sound quality, even by today's standards.
I trust you'll indoctrinate Phred into the more subtle aspects of Zappa's work 😉.
Also, I must claim ignorance - what's "Yellow Shark"? (I got into jazz as my main form of musical entertainment in the mid '70s).
