I want to attempt making a ported box for my super tough mini 2 inch sub
but i'm not sure what kind of box it would need because it's so small
i'm not planning on blowing any speakers but I want to see how much bass my little 2 inch speaker can do in a ported box
I was thinking of making a box for it and then putting the little speaker on top of the port of my 12 inch subwoofer box to see if I can get more bass out of my little mini sub
it says 3 watts and 4 ohms so I was going to ask exactly how much power it can handle since I ran a few tests with my car stereo on it
it easily runs fine at max volume and max bass for 10 minutes just fine it doesn't even bottom out and I'm sure my car stereo is MUCH more than 3 watts
so I was wondering what kind of box I could make for my super mini 2 inch sub?
should it be a regular super mini ported box or a super mini t line?
it's not a joke really I just want to see what kind of box I can make for my super mini sub?

If you have a relatively large ported enclosure, try placing it near the port and move it closer. Does it produce significant bass? This worked relatively well with an enclosure that had three 4" ports. We placed a 4" driver near one of the ports and is produced much more bass than we expected.
Do not power the 12 in the enclosure.
It's going to be difficult to suggest an enclosure without knowing the T/S parameters of the speaker.
Have you searched for other sites (google) to see if anyone else has experimented with this speaker?

ok I know I'm not going to power the 12 and the sub at the same time. I was going to power the little speaker by itself.
and I'll try that with the port and the little speaker
and I have no clue what the specs of the little mini sub are because since I took it out of a desktop usb powered speaker setup.
