Dear all
My friend just give me some tube of ECC85 and PC92. I don't know if these tube can be used for amplfier as preamp tube or not. Please give me your advice

tubes for audio
The ECC85 is a high transconductance dual triode, similar to an ECC88/6DJ8/6922, but with a little less gain. It should work well for audio in circuits where the 6DJ8 type of tube is used, but the bias may have to be re-adjusted.
The PC92 is similar to the EC92, except with a 3.1V heater voltage. The EC92 is the same as a 6AB4, which is 1/2 of a 12AT7/ECC81. Looking at the PC92 data sheet, the PC92 has slightly higher transconductance and mu (amplification factor) than the EC92, but is still quite close. The 12AT7/ECC81 is used in quite a few audio circuits.
So, both of these tubes are usable in audio. Two PC92 could have their heaters wired in series to give about 6.2V, which makes them more useful.
I hope this helps,
