Hi everyone, I was wondering if high power DIY solid state amplifiers have any fans here.
What are the highest power class AB (or linear class G, not switched rails) build that anyone recalls being posted here. Specifically built from scratch, not a kit. Original designs and clones both qualify.

About 1200 at 4 ohm, +/-127 volt rails. Newer generation are all switched rail. This was the last of the class AB with more than 80 V rails. There were three. Two mono blocks and a 2 channel version that made 600 per at 8, and 900 per at 4.
When I first tested these I was only getting 960 watts at 4 ohm out of the monoblocks. Then I found the AC mains dipping to 106V. They will get the plugs hotter than the blazes of hell and damnation at war volume.
