I would’ve thought there might be more response to this...
I guess I’ll kick it off and say that the house sound is present in all 3 drivers. They all use the same cone and basket. Then it depends on usage.
Of course the alnico sits on top. At first I thought the differences were subtle, but not anymore.

Can you describe the differences?
I’m going to build a small(ish) self contained stereo with a vintage sound. Something akin to an old console stereo, but small enough to sit on a table. About the size of a small suitcase. I’ve got a small SET amp which will be driving these. I am definitely leaning towards the AlNiCo.
