I was going through some papers today and found the receipt from selling my pair of Dynaco Mark III power amps back in 1985. $50 each. Shoulda kept them until the price went up.

Only "glass fets"! There was a logic gate one of these to go with this. I illustrated my entire thesis with one of these in one marathon 72 hr. session.

I have about a dozen of them and I still use them, because my new schematic programs DEMAND too much info to get my point across.

aha! I knew there was bound tp be some people who still used these templates! We are professionals, it says so on the template, so there!
you know I'm kidding...😀

Seriously by way of comparison, it takes (for a small drawing) about ten times longer to design it on the computer than it would by sketching a drawing. that's why I draw on paper. I only use computers for other stuff, like PCB design. Although, for most audio project I prefer the look of old curvy trace boards.

Another comparison (altough highly superstitious): If electrons bump each other fatser than formula one cars, then don'T you think they take turns much better on a curved track?

Back in high school we had an outside “expert” visit to lecture us on electrical safety. The guy told us about a bloke who stuck his finger into damaged extension cord socket and suffered burns and an exit wound at his shoulder. The explanation given was that by the time the electricity had arrived at his shoulder, from his finger, it was going too fast to take the bend.
