As a result i've started this thread to find commiseration among my fellow people.

Well i was recently made fun of by my 15 year old nephew for being "stuck in the 90s", does that count?

Yes, i still have a laserdisc, vhs player and nintendo in my living room. but to be fair, theres also a dvd player and i run a flatscreen tv so..

I just dont see a need to rebuy all the movies i own on a different format.
