Hello guys,
I've been exploring the TH412 lately and just fancied having a go at designing one. I've got as far as building the box and baffles but wouldn't know where to start with the horn folds...any ideas would be amazing! Also any tips on the box design so far would be appreciated.
I'll be using the Faital Pro 12HP1060's
thanks in advanced,
Sal

thanks for the links but I can't really get to grips with hornresp and that's why i'm asking for some ideas.
From this thread http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/subwoofers/268664-danley-th412-12lw1400.html and your sketch I suspect the fold is something like this, but angles and whatnot will need to be reworked... In order to enter HR data, measurements need to be posted.
A quick google also revealed some AB tests with the 412 against the TH15/18 and although the 412 went lower all still preferred the TH15/18 over it.

Thanks Zwiller! so basically shortening the top piece and extended it from the bottom instead?
I'll have a quick look at the AB tests. I already have a TH18 (diy) and i do love it so maybe i'll stick to it and possible build the meatgrinder that i posted a couple weeks back instead of the TH412, although it'll be interesting to see what this box will be like with 4 15" or 18" drivers!
