Tesla NC 500 renovation-upgrade

I decided to upgrade my old Tesla NC 500. I bought it in 1989 for cca 1380,- CZK (70USD) 🙂 The device was developed based on the requirements of the English company MECOM. Was made in Tesla Litovel 1986-1990…
The device is still produced in Litovel under the name Pro-Ject Essential.

very special think, instead old mini din connector.. due compatibility have to be vine from same year like phono its made... 🙂 very good damping factor 🙂

What is the insulation of wires made of? Silicone? Not too thick and affecting free movement of the arm?
Pro-ject is the successor of Tesla Litovel, same factory?

Verry soft wire for this purpose. Yes maybe some silicone..yes Pro-ject is made in Tesla Litovel...

original mini din connector and cable replacement... second think which had big impact on sound...

rubber ring which holding motor was too long and sometimes is touching to body.. new one is perfect..

Done! I am very happy with this turntable... new cabling, and mainly new cartridge have very significant impact on sound... My turntable is reborn after 28 years 🙂
