I have two 12.5' speakers that I need to build an enclosure for them very fast. They originally came from an enclosure with 4 speakers in it and 2 weren't connected to anything (do know the name of it).
Right now I have two choieses, to put each one into a ported enclosure witch was made for a 10.5' speaker (rip) with 2 3.5' tweeters I each enclosure (obviously the enclosure wasn't originally designed for them...).
The second choies to leave them on "free air"= meaning that they won't be in a sealed box, taking the tweeters them... (But they will be healed in a secure way)
The purpose is not to use them for stereo but to use them for small parties and such outside the house (beach, woods and so on).
of course this will be only a temporary arrangement (only for tomorrow) until ill find 2 more speakers like this and will build two enclosures with one un activated speaker in each one.....
the question is what wold be/sound better?
10x 4 the help....
p.s.
i dont have any parameters but i can take mesurmants from the speakers and the port if you need

12.5" speakers or 12.5cm speakers? 12.5' (ft) looks kinda off.
i am gonna assume 12.5cm as it mkaes most sense esp since u mentoins 3.5' tweeters....is 12.5c the outside dia or is it the cone dia.?
here goes....
what boxes do you have...
12.5cm (5") usually means you need about 10-15liters. can you post box dimensions?
