Hi,
When I first got this amp, there was power, but no sound. The voltage control LED was ON, but the current drive LED was off. I realise the relay was off. After checking, Q401 and Q415 were leaky. I replaced them and then the amp was working. I switched the amp on and off after a interval of 1 to 2 hrs and the amp switched on fine. The next morning, when I switched the amp, it did not work, the current drive LED was off. On checking again, I realised that Q410 was leaky again, I replaced it, and it was fine thru out the whole day. The same thing happened again the following day, when I switched on the amp, it did not work and the current drive LED was off, I noticed that all the component seem to be OK. There is a zener diode connected across Q401 and Q402 (MA4036M). When I checked this diodes with my multimeter at high ohms(X100K), they show a slight leakage. Is this normal?. Can someone please help. What can cause this to happen.
Thanks
Carlos
