Technics SP10MKIII Power Supply

I'd probably get a step down. I have the service manual in electronic form here and will send it if you like so you can decide for yourself. There are 3 or 4 different voltages out of the beast, one at about 124V, so there may be some issues.

Maybe EC8010 will chime in as he seems to know a thing or two about them. I sold my last SP10 just recently.

Voltage on the western half on honshu also comes in 60 cycles so I wouldn't
worry about frequency, but I wouldn't go over 10% voltage wise.

Considering the MKIII is all about the power supply, I would also suggest you get a step down.

Don't forget that the AC also has a tolerance; the 120V are not written in stone. Indeed if I remember correctly they're allowed to vary by 10% or so.

Get a step up.

No point in putting an expensive turntable at risc.
