See those diamond shapes printed on the board surface?
You'll probably find surface mount LSI chips on the solder side underneath them.

Maybe two of them are dual DACs and the third is some other function.
Just guessing without the schematic. If you can read the part number off the chips you could look up their datasheet on Google.

I think one is dual for digital audio out and the other two are for analog audio out!
Btw! I heard once that DACs are used only for digital audio out! Is that true? Are they available only for Digital Optical Out? Or are they available for L/R audio out line?

So it takes action into the entyre board, even through the rca output jacks where my sound comes out!
There are 4 DACs on the board now I've seen them one of them is a small rectangular one and states for sure IC and number, I don't remember quite 801 I think, the rest are the ruby shape ones that state IC as well but different serries!
Ok, now I think I am asking right, where are the four chips that procees sound that should be in the player as four dacs?
Btw. If anyone trips into this message please have a look in the thread Crossover wiring for heco ascada 770, please!
OzKar , I am heavily modding a technics 200a.....honest mate....the single chip houses 4 dacs, they say 4 because the are +r/-r channel, and +l/-l channel..ie 4 dacs..Yours is just the same as mine except you have a jog wheel and spdif output....modded its knockout...pure gold....if you bust it buy anbother on ebay super cheap...you can't go wrong....
my camera is dead give me an hour or so , I will post a pic of the underside of the board

Help on speakers wiring, if anyone pleases to apply... Thank you! Here is a link: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/238530-wiring-crossover.html
I just wrote about this one because there was a time when simulated things were called as actual things! So that is why I wrote, to find out if what it says for it to be it realy is!
