The panels are bowed out a little because it detached from the foam surround under it....solution is simple just glue it back on the foam surrounds with wood glue putting pressure on the edges of panels so the foam surround will adhere to the panel.
Use glue very sparingly.
Or if the foam surrounds are too deteriorated you can just replace them using any type of window seal foam like Frost King.

Those speakers are basically DML's in which it uses a exciter as its transducer so its easier to fix then re coning a conventional cone speaker.
If you like the sound of those speakers I suggest you look into DML technology and build your own for pennies on the dollar.

Actually, I was thinking about making some of these flat panel speakers up after watching a YouTube video on the subject. Its so easy to do and the results are very good apparently? Hmmm, very interesting? 😀
