Hi
Some time ago I asked about a Class AB Amplifier that is DC Powered,
and was recommended to try the "lunch money" TDA7297.
Today I saw the TDA7377 which is also Class AB, and is also DC Powered

So I wonder, what is the difference between these 2?
Any reason to prefer one of them, in terms of sound?
Thank you

TDA7377 has less distortion than TDA7297. TDA7297 is a plain stereo amplifier IC while TDA7377 offers 4 channels that may in used in stereo BTL coupling.
Sound-wise, TDA7377 should be best.
Both are cheap.

TDA8947 is another 4 channel chipamp. I've built amps with it and it can sound great given enough decoupling. It has a higher maximum voltage rating (24V) than TDA7377 (18V). Oh did I mention its also extremely cheap?
Here's an example application with it - switched-mode powered amp for about $5 : ???????50W???????? TDA8947?????????-???

yeah I know - Old treath, but I just want to say that I bought a tda7377 amp from China, and so far It sounds better than others I have tried...and first of all - no hum or hiss! Psu is a china-12v-5A. right now the input is an old iPhone 4S, maybee with low output, but its loud enough for me...Think I need a case for it 🙂
do not mount the heat sink https://www.amazon.de/DollaTek-TDA7...ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=TDA7377&qid=1571166879&sr=8-1ike this😛
