I have several systems at my home.... even some digital ones.... also several class AB...but i have enormous appreciation of this chip sonics.... it needs, maybe, to my old ears, a little bit high end...maybe internal compensations because small distances from input to output. I would like to assemble something discrete using the internal schematic...so...having the one, please, send to uncle charlie.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

Have you tried TDA2030A? How does this compared with the non "A" version? I have built the A version but it does not sound good compared to LM1875 in the non-inverting configuration. Can you share how you implement them?

Thanks.

I have not implemented the one... i just have a cheap home theater

made by Durabrand, Wal Mart sells it in Brasil, and cost is very small....sounds very good for the price.... better than the price range.... i like it very much.

But i felt is not perfect into the high frequencies..the very high end into the audio..those rare sounds that sometimes we listen into recordings.. higher than 10 Kilohertz..... we usually listen harmonics from strings and metal instruments..but we usually do not listen fundamental tones so high that way...but even this way i found it lacking those frequencies into the reproduction.. i felt this not very good... reason why i had the need to watch and study the topologie, how the parts are connected together to make something discrete, using transistors and to fix the high frequency losses....then we gonna have a very pleasant amplifier, that can be made in several power levels.

I already have the needed informations.

I do not know how it compares.... all i know is that we do not feel tired listening...i have others, not chip amplifiers, that beat it in sonics, but they have not that important characteristic, that soft sound, having the harmonics humans like... something does not make you tired listening.... you know...it may produce or reproduce the harmonic distortion we like..H2 and H3..and maybe reproduces only small ammount of H5, H7 and H9

In the future i will make a discrete....but will be posted into the Solid State forum.

Carlos

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I love those toys Durabrand makes...very cheap toys

today i have bougth more two home theathers...this one very small..cost was less than 50 USD...for US people may cost 30 USD..we have Wall Mart but we have to pay importation taxes.

This new toy has 15 watts of consumption..seems it has a dedicated chip inside..and maybe all channels comes from that chip,... i will open tomorrow to see that stuff.

Power may be 1 watt to each one of the satelite speakers and almost 5 watts to the subwoofer...very impressive sound to use into our PC.... near our ears this toy sounds nice.

here you have a youtube video made to my sister..she lives in Brasilia, 3000 kms at south...i bougth one for her too.

It is not wonderfull but for the price paid, and to use into the PC table it is perfect.

regards,

Carlos
