Hi All,
I just completed a DAC like this https://jelabs.blogspot.com/2020/04/tda1541-nos-dac.html for a friend and, amazed by its sound, I'dl like to build something similar for me.
The obvious starting point is a good board to implement D/A conversion: what would you recommend to me? I already have a TDA1541A dacchip.
Many thanks

You can have a look at Ryan's PCB design - https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/diy-tda1541a-pcb-d3.328060/
Many have built it and very happy when paired with Pedja IV stage and I have it too.

Merci, le conseil est très intéressant, mais presque tous smd. J'aimerais quelque chose de plus facile à construire...
Regarde sur ebay il y a une très bonne carte. je l'ai acheté mais pas encore construit

Many thanks, I think I'll take that board, maybe the semi-populated one and add the tube output circuit I used on previous project.
I see that there're many different advices on I/V resistors: someone use 100R, other smaller values like 68R or less...

SMD is absolutely fine to build by hand. Nothing tricky building a D3. All you need is an appropriate iron tip, some thin solder and a cheap magnifier. Lots of tutorials on YouTube. Thanks, the board is very interesting, but almost all smd. I'd like something easier to build...
