Hi all
I am looking into building my first dac.
I have been intrigued by the nos designs I have come across here, and many others.
The depth of knowledge on this site is rather intimidating at times [but also such a pleasure] and have resisted posting my
naive questions thus far.
Whilst I do not have an electronics background I do seem to find myself drawn to this fascinating area of engineering.
I am considering constructing something utilizing the CS 8412 chip I already have, combined with the tda 1543.
The tda 1541a projects have also caught my eye.
I have noted some enthusiasm amongst some here for these
chips especially the s1,s2 variety's.
In my idle moments searching for these parts i have noted
models such as 1541an2's etc.
Has anyone any views on these variants?
On a more practical note , is it sensible to begin my fist project
with the above nos approach and components etc?
As the nos approach intrigues and the circuits I have seen did
not appear to overly complex or expensive.
Or is it just the naivety of the beginner?
😛
Cheers
