Hi
I've been simulating a bit and find this to be one way to go.
Unibox says that Qtc is 0,694 when fully filled with damping.
Now to my question: The response is 10dB down at 20Hz, is that too much? 2 boxes are going to be built, placed in the corners behind my front speakers.
I've only built a bassreflex sub before, with F3 around 18 Hz, so maybe you understand my worries...
The sub's are going to be used in my HT, the room is 22 m².
So, should I go 60 L sealed or about 100 L bassreflex?
Z 😕

What about doing passive radiator (PR) instead? Should give you better response at 20Hz in a smaller box similar to the AV12.
10DB down from 20hz seems like a lot maby while your buying everything might want to pick up an equilizer to fix that and flatten out the curve or even better go for a bigger box if you want to get lower.
For HT id consider my SPL requirements. IF they were low,Id go sealed and some room gain will help. Otherwise id go ported, and consider a PR if required,as small box, high power, low tuned subs often require them.
10 dB down at 20 Hz versus what? 100 Hz? If yes, it's too much for me, but maybe not for you. I'm 5 dB down at 20 Hz versus 100 Hz.
Also consider that a tiny sealed box with a radiator doing high excursions will result in large amounts of 2 HD , since the driver is a low distortion one id consider this issue also

Thanks for all input.
I'm 10 dB down at 20 Hz vs. 100 Hz.
Now I'm thinking of buying a Thommessen Subway X crossover
Level Bass-EQ
The amount of bass boost is adjustable up to +6dB.
Freq Bass-EQ
The bass boost center frequency is adjustable from 20Hz-40Hz
Maybe this is one way to go...
