Sorry if this has already been brought up, but i just noticed the higher crossover capability of this driver, and somewhat moderate price relative to other tb products now a days.
Any comments on using this driver up to about 7 or 8k hz, and adding in a tweeter for the top end. Could it be used in a BIB, tl, mltl etc?

The problem with crossing that high is the beaming of the midbass driver approaching that freq.
The other problem is designing an xo with bsc without adding separate components to act as BSC due to the high xo point.
Lastly, you cant say it as semi FR, cause it has a peak in the upper range that you have to deal with , Making the speaker strictly a 2 way design. A semi FR design is one that uses a wideband driver without XO with a super tweeter added to fill in the top.
