Does anyone know what these gate drivers are that are used in the output section of this Taramps DSP 3000. It’s driving some IRFB4115 mosfets.
The code on the gate driver is FQG8. It’s a five leg SMD gate driver. Not sure what amp rating it should be. I need to order some.
Photo is attached. They are marked SC1 and SC2 on the board.
Thanks,
David

Ok. So apparently SC1 and SC2 is a current sensor for the gate. The Five legged IC is IR25750. Just putting this out there in case anyone else needs to know this.
Ok. I’m trying to learn something about this design. Why would you need an extra film capacitor installed from the drain of one mosfet to the source leg of the mosfet next to it. The cap was scabbed on there like an afterthought. It came from the factory like this?

Yeah I'd like to know why you'd need an extra film cap. too. There looks to be some kind of modification done to this board. Maybe by undoing the modification the board will come back to life if you're having problems with it still?
Isn't this cap across the rails? If so, it might be there to clean up a little noise that was causing some minor problem.
