Looking to see if anyone has a schematic or service manual for the Taramps Md8k or Bass 8k. I bought multiple blown and it would help a lot in the troubleshooting I've been doing. Thanks!
I don't have any I can post but I can try to answer any questions you have. What's incredibly important is to get the DCV from all terminals of the MCU from a working amplifier. That can GREATLY help in troubleshooting an amplifier. The rest of the components have datasheets that tell you what to expect. There is no such document for the MCU.
I appreciate the tip on the MCU. Right now I'm stuck tracking down why half of my power supply fet traces (each side) are shorted from gate to source. I've pulled MCU, IC3, IC1, IC9, IC4, IC2, and CI1 to no avail. I'm sure it's something I'm overlooking but I'm not sure what to test from here.
Do ALL of the 'shorted' locations read the same as when you hold the meter probes together (on the lowest ohms range if you don't have an auto-ranging meter)?
Seeing 220 ohms across these pads from gate to source (marked with black line)

Perry you're a freaking legend. I had R140 in R59s location and vice-versa. Swapped them around and problem solved!

OK. I don't quite understand how you read 220 ohms on all of those locations but if you are using the correct values and read the correct resistance gate to source, good enough.
