Hello,
Just a thought, if I ever needed to replace the Mylar do you think I could just bond the Mylar on one side. The Mylar would then be bonded to the back stator not both. Do you think this would jeopardize keeping the film under tension for long time?
Thank You,
Bryan

There is no problem fixating the film to one stator only. I like to use a thin film of contact cement like DAP Weldwood or Press Tite Green. If you want to go solvent based, 3M 4693(H) is excellent stuff. It's better not to use double sided tape because it will lose tension (creep) over time.
