Hi, I recently acquired a tape deck, I have a few, I like bouncing synth recordings through them while making music.
This particular deck seems to be taken from a dynatron?? System.
There is a grey 5 pin din cable attached which I would have assumed is to carry input and or output audio?
There is also a board with 5 pins which I would have assumed may take power, however the grey cable seems to to attached to this board almost like they are both carrying the same thing. There are pictures attached which should give more clarity on my explanations.
I'm not even sure what power supply voltage I need for this, so if anyone has any knowledge of them and could advise me on how to get it up and running that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.

So, grey cable connected to the pins (GND 2x out 2x in makes sense) .
Now You have to find the PSU input. I would be looking for a large cap say 470-1000uF and study / follow the circuit around. Probably under the right alu protection.
Follow the motor wires, one of them should go trough a mech switch to the PSU input.

Thanks for your input, that should be easy enough to find.
I don't think there will be a mechanical power switch though. As I understand it the deck came out of a larger dynatron system with a record player and speakers built in, I expect the whole ensemble would power up from a switch on the main unit, but no issue, I still should be able to locate the PSU input.
I might just try using a 12 volt supply I have from a PC
