I am a newbie to hornresp and speaker modeling but wanted to see if anyone had any comments on this subwoofer attempt. I have been following the tutorial on http://diysubwoofers.org/tls/ and trying it with the Tangbad W6-1139SIF which I will use for music in a 2.1 setup.
I am attaching my hornresp export file and a rough sketch for the offset driver horn I am trying in hornresp.
Thanks
Kerux

Your driver file isn't valid for us to 'import', so please do again using the 'export' feature. TIA
I am not sure why the export didn't work so I am trying again with the file offset_retry. I tested exporting and importing it and the input parameters appear to load fine in Hornresp. I also added the horn data export from the schematic and the chart data export too.
Thanks for the response.

Sorry, none will Import, so lacking any clue why, am going to report this here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/hornresp.119854/
Thanks for trying.
All I can think of is a windows to unix txt file conversion issue that occurred when I uploaded this from my linux desktop. This time I am uploading from my windows laptop where hornresp is installed.
I am sorry for wasting time and appreciate your help. If this doesn't work then I am doing something wrong.

You're welcome!
Just compared one of yours to a known good one in Notepad and all the various 'specs' in the Header field are identical, so we'll have to wait for David to sort it out since with what little I know/tried I couldn't change its formatting to a vertical string or have a clue why it apparently matters. 🙁

OK, the 3rd try Imported!
At a glance, see nothing fundamentally wrong other than the tapered segment should be parabolic since it has a set of parallel walls, changed [Eg] = 2.00 since it's a 4 ohm driver and added a 1/2 ohm [Rg] for wiring, which in turn increases Qts, so if there's other resistive devices, components in series, then need to include them for most accurate sim:
[Qts']: [Qts] + any added series resistance [Rs]: http://www.mh-audio.nl/Calculators/newqts.html
[Rs] = 0.5 ohm minimum for wiring, so may be higher if a super small gauge is used as a series resistor plus any added resistance from an XO/whatever.

GM, Thank you for trying again. The first two uploads were done from my unix desktop so that was the problem.
I appreciate your help and downloaded your attachment and looking at it.
