Tangband state this 'mid/bass' 4" model is only good for 8000 khz ( a bit misleading) I hope and think it looks to have potential as a very decent full range driver, maybe with a modification ie different shape dust cap or plug
This driver has amazing reviews- 86 Db and apparently takes alot of power without flinching which is where alot of full rangers fall down. Price is just over $40 each. The manufacturer specs show Fr. response looking very flat and great bass extention for a 4". A high frequency rise at 8-11 khz in Tangband spec but strangely in the review below their measurement looks different, no rise, just gentle roll off.

just realised the reviewer did an 'in room' measurement- it shows it gently dropping off in the HFs- I guess its a case of buying a couple and experimenting
