TA3F (mini XLR) connector

I got a good deal on a surface mount condenser mic. It has a TA3M jack.
Does anybody know the orientation of pins?
I took a chance and hooked it up. The ground was obvious but I am not sure about + and - . At this point it is working. My 48v is on pin 2 of XLR.
I am quite inexperienced so I don't know how the 48v works therefore can not determine connections nor do I know how to measure it. Pin 2 of XLR should be positive voltage when sound applied to mic.
Thanks

TA3F

OK I've become spoiled and lazy.
Checked a circuit diagram in my dwawer and found that phantom is on + and - so I will not see 48v across the pins. I gues I'll just generate a tone and check millivolts.
Thanks in advance for putting up with my ignorance
