To find out why Marc gave me pretty high compliment about my system, I would like to invite you to visit us (Seal Beach Room)

"however, had a unique soundstage that reminded me of the first time I heard a VK Music system featuring Sunvalley amplification, AER speakers and a Sparkler Audio CD player. It’s a sound that pulls you inward until you’re immersed in an otherworldly and vaguely spherical image that informs you of everything that’s happening within the music."

Great, I was going to ask whether you were planning to attend T.H.E. in Costa Mesa this year! Looking forward to meeting you in person!
With any luck I might even have started building my amp by then...

Are you going to be there on all days? Or which day would you recommend for a visit? I don't really have time constraints.
And admission prices are not too bad, but it doesn't cost to ask: Can we get any deals on admission tickets through you, Victor? ;-)

I hope you solved your turntable problem.

Victor (or anybody else who has been to this or similar shows before), maybe a stupid question: How loud is the show? Is there loud music going on everywhere? Or can one avoid it easily, by just not visiting the areas/rooms where high volume demonstrations take place?

I met Victor, and saw your turntable, John. Victor got a good room at the show. In comparison, the rooms on the second and third floor feel quite cramped, and hard to deal with without air conditioning.

Besides Victor's booth, I found the gallium nitride 'tube' exhibit very interesting (although I'm not convinced that GaN is really needed, and the tube packaging is a gimmick), and also the field coil full range single driver speaker ('Man on the Moon' speakers, the immersiveaudio.com web site that they advertise unfortunately doesn't have any information on this project - this video shows the room:
).

A lot more good sounding systems at the show this year. Although many of them you had to be in the sweet spot or the system didn’t image. Victor’s setup had a very wide sweet spot and very natural timbre. The first album on the table was an audiophile recording of a piano and it had some real weight and impact. Sounded like the piano was about 10 feet from me with the pianist playing for me. Overall, a great show this year. Glad I could help out when needed.
