T-amp PSU cap wiring

Hello,

I was wondering if I could add extra PSU capacitance for the little T-amp like shown on the attached scheme? Would this approach be better than the usual cap over + and - in any way?

The t-amp uses only a positive voltage and ground. You have drawn a positive-ground-negative supply. This would only apply to the larger tripath chips. A standard (or modded) sonic impact (or similar) would not benefit from this proposed psu.

Adding big caps will help the T-Amp. You get a more stable power supply rail

As noted in the post above, you have shown a split rail PSU. The small T-Amps use a single rail. Otherwise, this will help. So will getting a large, good cap near the chip.
