Switching Power Supply w/ Aleph J?

I am having a friend help me build an Aleph J (boards on the way!!!). Any thoughts on using a switching power supply with it? Thanks!

Just use minimum 600VA SMPS.

Sure, why not?

The supplies should be rated above the peak of draw. For a single Aleph J
that would be 3 amps or more per channel.

There are some SMPSs for 'medical purpose' which are said to be 'better'. Try a Google search.
I'd improve the filtering of ANY of these though. Get some additional caps, resistors or eben coils
to reduce HF noise.
