Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Zurich switzerland and i am an IT-Specialist. I am highly engaged in high end computer audio and saw that some people here are talking about my latest project. So it seemed to be a good idea to join as well 🙂
If you have ever heard of "John Doe's audiophile Windows 8" or "Windows Server 2012 audiophile core edition", well then, here i am! 🙂

Mine actually are in the following photos. The PC is an oldie AMD 486 running DOS 7.10 and MPXPLAY from PDSoft. INcluded in the equipment is the AM/FM receiver (In the box under the AM ferrite antenna), and CD player, old PC with all buttons to act the devices. Less sophisticated, but still usefull. I made it about 12 years ago, and still is not finished, as you can see. Under development is a push pull EL34 ultralinear with output transformers toroidal winded at home by my own hands.

Wow. I would probably never be able to build something like this! Since you are using it since more than a decade, it has to sound very nice.
Certainly, yes. I like listen Joaquín Sabina and Joan Manuel Serrat (Spanish singer songwriters) almost once at a mount, and never I could increase the pot volume from 1/10 without having a neighbour screaming at the door!
