Swap Meet bumping - allowed? if yes, how often?

Hi team

I thought before doing anything

it would be nice to know the rules that operate on this platform

I see sellers sometimes do a "bump" "up" in the Swap Meet section

I wanted to know if this can be done at all

and if so, how often?

once a year/month/week/day

There are no hard and fast rules. Let's just say if we see someone is abusing the system then we might step in. Once every 7 to 14 days is OK. If you don't get any bites then you have to accept either no one wants what you have, or the price is too high.

In the old forum there was a mod tool to bump a listing, we would do that and delete any bump message, sadly a function lacking in XF, so you bump, and we have to come in later and remove any bumps before the last one.

So yes a bump is OK, but it is more work for the mods.
