Hi
Ive looked around on google for ages for low bass music, I have plenty of rap and techno so dont suggest that unless it has really low frequency content
Heres a link to a video with some music that I want more of,
http://video.google.com.au/videoplay?docid=2665607834558545443&q=bass+pig
It contains a system with 10 18" subwoofer Aaaahhhh its called the "Bass Pig"

Best low Hz
I've heard alot of bass from techno thru classical & I have one that is right up your test alley....few systems can bring it out onto the spooky tear in your eye, chill up your spine level...find it & give it a try...only 2:21 long but well worth it ...Enigma "1990" First cut "Voice of Enigma" Starts rather low level (Preset your level)....If the system holds up the 'voice' will shock you (If the rest of the frequencies are dialed in)..........drop the level after this song as the second cut is WAY bad lousy mixing...lotsa 125 Hz "Bonk" & will "Wreck" your ears if your dialed into the low frequencies.

PS..Track six some fifty seconds into it...some sweet drum attacks...can give Ya chills if you system is up to it.

Try some classical like Respighi's Pine of Rome. During the march sequence there is a sustained organ pedal at about 20Hz. That's a good test of subwoofer low response.
"State of Play" by Yes, Talk album; and of course "Frankenstein" by Edgar Winter...
In movies there's a bunch... Matrix 2: the courtyard fight sequence with the multiple Smiths - theres lots of 15 -20hz energy.

Charles-Marie Widor, Symphony for Organ No 5 in F minor (Simon Preston playing the organ at Westminster Abbey- Deutsche Grammophon 413-438-2) , 1st movement, that will get the windows rattling.
Frank Zappa and the Mothers:
"Sofa 1" & "Sofa 2"
That's on "One size fits all."
Just in case your computer has a decent sound card and speakers with a subwoofer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypz6ip1W94Q It plays better off Vinyl or CD than on YouTube but you will get a FEEL for the effect!
