Stupid Question - Binding Posts

Here is a stupid question- is there a standard spacing for 5-way binding posts on speakers and amps? so if you have 2 sets of 2 posts for + and - each individual post of .25" diameter, is there a standard spacing between the + and -?

For sure: 3/4in center to center

Interesting thing is that Cardas posts are always slightly more than 3/4 " spacing. If you drill them exactly, they won't fit. IIRC it's about 0.765"

Thanks for the replies, thought there was a standard. Now I can go 3/4" center to center and it will fit most connectors!
