Ok. So i have this sub amplifier for repair. It uses the STK404-070 chip. In the feedback path, there is a 100k RES and a 2,2nF capacitor in parallel with it.
The unit motorboats after 30 sec. As soon as I remove the cap, the amp becomes stable again. Is there way of maintaining the LPF action of this network without removing the cap completely..
I read somewhere that another res should be placed in series with the cap, but I have no idea how to determine its size.....
Any help will be great.
