Stereo Amp to Subwoofer Connnection

Hi,

I have a stereo amp. Here is how the back looks :

I want to connect an active subwoofer to it. Can i use the Rec/line out to conenct my sub amp and drive my subwoofer. If not then can i use a resistor based attenuator at the speaker out and convert the speaker out to line level and feed that to my sub amp.

Either way will work.

Rec/line out may not be volume controlled, which is not ideal.
