I must be confused, do they nolonger make a Squeezebox that has ethernet in and digital out? All i can find is the $180 radio with built in speaker.
All i want is some "thing" that streams my music from my back computer (or dedicated if its got over 10gb storage) that has digital out (optical/coax) and a crappy screen for viewing the song with standard selection buttons. It could even be a standard mp3 player with a digital out if they make one.
Im just tired of having a 22" monitor and a dedicated core2duo just to play music.
I have an adroid phone and wifi network if you can think of some shenanigans (wow spelled that the first time) where some "software" can stream via one usb sound card on the main pc without affecting the main pcs normal usage.

You want the Squeezebox Touch...has WiFI, ethernet, coax and SPDIF digital outputs as well as analog out. I think the going price is about $270 new.
