Well, it's almost been a year since I've posted here. If anyone remembers, my panel would light up but it wouldn't display anything. I've come to the conclusion that it's a bad cable. I was using an IBM monitor cable before and I really don't think the pinouts are correct for the Spectra. So here's why I came back.
1. If anyone has a DB9F to DB15M that is SURE TO WORK with the Spectra C (no composite), then I'd like to buy that. Or if you could point me to an online store or auction, that would be splendid.
2. If it doesn't work out, I can send this to someone who knows what they're doing. As I said before, I couldn't get it to work... and maybe someone else will have better luck with it. I don't want it sitting around here, so maybe we can work something out.
I have faith in the cable theory though. So I hope it doesn't resort to option #2.

First of all, you must make sure your screen is at 640 X 480 resolution at 60 hertz. Im sure the cable you are using is the wrong kind. Contact uvodee. He makes cables for that type of screen. I have actually bought two from him and they worked like a charm. $15 bucks shipped.

Sorry but we were out of town and my wife did not let me check my emails. We were doing other things 🙂 the weather was bad so we stayed in our hotel room for most of the time except for eating.
