spectra c problems

I can't get beyond the spectra c logo on the panel

If I power up my vga box I get a picture for a moment and then it goes back to the logo.

Plus I can't seem to get the thing to calibrate

any ideas

I answered my own question, the default on my scan converter was not 640X480.

I changed it and everything is fine

Is there anyone in St. Louis who can hlep me mod my elmo ohp?
I am not sure of the model number.

Also, I have some fuzziness on bright images on my nview spectra c. has anyone else experienced this?

if its only on the bright images it could be the same problem I had with my ASK400 setup. Basically you want to turn on your projector, get some electrical tape, move a length of tape from one side of the projection lens to the other until the fuzziness goes. Repeat for all four sides of image. see picture
