I picked up a pair of these at RS today for $5 each on clearance, but I can't find any of the specs on them. If anyone knows, could you please post them, or post a link here.
I have that much, that came with the speakers. What I need is the stuff I need to design an cabinet for one.
TS parameters and enclosure ideas?
I picked up 2 of the RS 40-1041's... just for fun.
I want to throw together an enclosure this weekend....
Should I buy 2 more and dipole them? Or ML TL? or BR?
any TS parameters???
Thanks!
p.s. any tweaks w/ damar or maybe stuffing under the whizzer cone?

First, I'd say BUY THEM ALL...
second, mine do very well in a dipole arrangement, though I suspect that because of how much cone area is blocked by the basket, it's probably not the best solution. (Did someone say bipole?)
If you can get TS parameters for it, a simple sealed or vented enclosure would probably sound really, really good.

TL?
How about a TL similar to the bipole at www.t-linespeakers.com ?
I think Fs is 80Hz... thats all I know.
would a notch filter help with the highs?
Thanks!
