I saw this sub from specimen 300-watt Subwoofer | Specimen Products and thought I would like to have one. I couldn't afford $1500 for it, so I built something similar for $500. Sounds pretty good but breaks apart at any appreciable volume level below 25Hz. 18"x18"x18" with a 14" port, Seas L26ROY and 300W Keiga plate amp. Luckily I don't play very loud very often. Now the wife (who chose the color) says it is too orange and wants it in espresso. Women. 🙁
