Anybody here have an idea of where I course source a replacement driver similar to this one here? I have searched the web high and low and can't fins an exact replacement and am looking for a substitute driver until I find an original. It's a bass 8" driver from a Magnat Magnasphere Gamma speaker system.

Thanks

The 3 parameters you need to match as closely as possible are sensitivity, Qts, & Fs.
Unfortunately, the site you link doesn't give a Qts value for the original driver. It has a small magnet, so likely to be fairly high Q. What sort of cabinet is it in, sealed or ported?

The cabinet is a pyramid shape. 14X14 inches at the bass, 5X5 inches at the top and 39.75 inches tall. It is sealed and materials are 1/2 inch thick. There are two bass drivers per cabinet, and two mids and tweeters ect. It is a dipole. the cab is stuffed with insulation with about a square foot where the bass drivers are. I am adding a link to a web page of the exact speakers.

Actually your link to the Dayton Audio woofer is for Parts Express. They have many more speakers to choose from than just that Dayton Audio woofer speaker. If you call them they are very helpful when speaking to them.

Thanks I will give them a call tomorrow. As noted in this thread I am missing an important figure in determining the right driver.
