Hey i am looking for some diy speakers i can build. My budjets not to tight but it isnt very big. The speakers will be playing mostly rock. Alot of acoustic guitar also. I also want speakers that will reproduce vocals really well. I would love floorstanding speakers and i had been lookign at the auriga on humble homade hifi. http://home.hetnet.nl/~geenius/Auriga.html These are a little expensive though. thnx

Both excellent designs but disimilar sensitivity.
One is 86dB/W 8 ohm, the other 90dB/W 4 ohm.
You could check this out :

A few designs can be easily converted to floorstanding, e.g. :

🙂 sreten.

konnan,
I think you've seen the Solo 206 on Tony Gees pages? http://home.hetnet.nl/~geenius/Solo206.html
They are quite cheap ones and have very good vocal reproduce.
